Basic Reading
Our acclaimed reading program concentrates on the basic skills needed for long term success in reading. Some of the key features include: Comprehension (Literal, Inferential and Critical Thinking Skills), Vocabulary Skills (Meanings, Analogies, Multi-Meaning Words, Prefixes and Suffixes), Phonics, oral reading and Sight Words. We also address key applications like Reference Skills, Reading Rate, Listening Comprehension and Spelling. Students are tested to find specific skills in need of direct instruction prior to enrollment.
